Merritt wanted central hub where she could showcase artisan work, promote and list a calendar of events, and a center where she could receive applications for membership, classes, block parties, and rental space. Website integrations for calendars and forms made if possible for Local Lex to organize incoming information. A photo gallery of makers on the site showcases maker product and links to their websites and social media.

Local Lex Market is a local community marketplace of creative makers and artisans. Owners Merritt and Ben had a vision to create a year-round marketplace where people could connect, shop, and celebrate local craftsmanship. They built an amazing space where small businesses can grow, thrive, and become part of a vibrant community hub. Local Lex had primarily developed its community and promoted events through social media, and it was time to create a central online hub.
